Luxogram

Luxogram

Tomasz Pluta, aka Luxogram, is from Poland and works with an old Kiev 88. I'm glad no one told him about the rule of thirds. Squared centred pictures are so much better !

Ailine Liefeld

Ailine Liefeld

Ailine Liefeld is fascinated by people and their expressions and can spend hours just studying them on public places. I think it show in her photos.

Shooting strangers in Orchard Road

Shooting strangers in Orchard Road

Danny Santos II is a weekend photographer who likes to shoot strangers in the streets of Singapore. He's been shooting street for about 2 years now. I wish I had the nerve to stop people in the street and ask for a picture like he does. But even if I succeeded, would I manage to capture regards with so much intensity ? I don't think so !

Bloggers

Gabriela Herman blogs and reads blogs. She believes that modern technology do not isolate people but rather bring them closer. I invite you to read more about it here, and meanwhile have a look at the serie !

Olivier Roller

Olivier Roller

Each summer, Olivier Roller takes photos of Juliette. They spend their summer in the same house. So, at the end of the stay, when everyone is hurried by the departure, they become isolated, and he does her portrait. And each year, he and us see her become a woman. He imagines the end of this story when he will photography her with her daughter aged eleven.

The serie about Juliette is my favorite of Olivier's work, but I would recommend you to check out his entire website !
